Boise, ID 83712 Date: Time: Participants *Attended via phone Motion Motion Quorum established. (16 of 17 members present). Brad Huerta made a motion to approve the minutes for May 13, 2025. Jeremy Schabot spoke in support of the motion. Motion passed. Brad Huerta made a motion to approve the June 10, 2025 agenda. Bill Spencer spoke in support of the motion. Motion passed. Closed Meeting Idaho Statute Title 74 Chapter “(d) To consider records that are exempt from disclosure as provided in chapter 1, title 74, Idaho Code;”. During the Executive Session, the TSE Council members discussed a pending TSE application that were recently received. Dr. Rashna Ginwalla made a motion to exit the Executive Session. Jason Taylor spoke in support of the motion. Motion passed. Regional Reports North Region – Kate Oliver Kate Oliver shared the next regional committee meeting is Thursday, July 24th. North-Central Region – Jason Taylor Jason Taylor shared at the last regional meeting, the committee discussed the top three pediatric injuries. The region attended to educate the community on injury prevention and bike safety at the 19th Annual Officer Newbill Kids Safety Fair. Southwest Region – Marie Krochmal Marie Krochmal shared the EMS Education Videos (trauma, stroke, & STEMI) for healthcare providers are available on the TSE website to earn CEs. The next regional meeting will be Thursday, June 19th, and the committee will review their bylaws. South-Central Region – Fran Jamison Fran Jamison shared the committee quarterly holds regional Triage Tuesday to increase education for healthcare providers regarding the disaster triage process of multiple patient influx. The next regional meeting will be Wednesday, July 9th. Southeast Region – Dr. Curtis Sandy Dr. Curtis Sandy shared at the last regional meeting, the committee discussed the impacts pertaining to the measles outbreak. The next regional meeting will be Wednesday, July 23rd. East Region – Eric Day Eric Day shared at the last regional meeting, the committee discussed the meaning difference between pediatric readiness vs. pediatric capabilities. As well, the committee is developing a regional multi-casualty incident plan and tabletop exercise to bring all resources together. TSE Program Budget Melissa Ball shared the TSE program budget will have limitations for Fiscal Year 2026 especially in areas of surveyor pay rate, conference support, and Idaho TSE Council meeting logistics (i.e. costs of meeting room, member travel, etc.). The Council and TSE program will brainstorm alternative solutions for both short-term and long-term sustainability. STEMI Activation Fee Melissa Ball shared the letters of support were given to the NASEMSO Specialty System of Care Chair. The next steps is to present the letters to a Congressional Champion. Statewide Report Card Melissa Ball presented the Statewide Report Card that shows data metrics on trauma, stroke and STEMI broken down by facility type: critical access, community care, and tertiary hospitals. The report card will be distributed to the TSE Regional Committees to present at their meetings. Agenda Meeting cancelled on July 8, 2025. Next meeting will be a virtual meeting on August 12, 2025, beginning at 9am. Information on how to join the WebEx meeting is available on the TSE website.
